Acacia Park Noise Monitor — 2026 Overnight Noise Audits

This page publishes month-by-month overnight noise audits for the Acacia Park community noise monitor. Each audit focuses on the concentration, intensity, and timing of aircraft noise events during typical sleep hours — generally between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

These audits provide an independent, verifiable record of what the Acacia monitor actually captured during 2026. Each file includes noise-event counts, timestamps, maximum dB values, and runway-procedure associations where available.

  • Summary report — a visual, resident-friendly overview (PDF and XLSX).
  • Events dataset — the full, time-stamped events table (PDF and XLSX).

Resident downloads are suitable for sharing with neighbours, elected officials, and community groups.
Investigator files provide structured data for researchers, journalists, legal counsel, and public agencies who need to verify or reproduce the analysis.

Why Acacia Park matters

The Acacia Park noise monitor is one of the most important community monitors in the Pearson network. It sits beneath extremely dense nighttime arrival paths and provides essential ground-truth evidence of the noise burden experienced by residents.

Status of institutional information
Last updated: February 19, 2026

Pearson Accountability Alliance has submitted requests seeking complete Noise Monitoring Terminal (NMT) outage logs for Acacia Park and the entire Pearson noise monitoring network (including outage duration, reasons, maintenance records, configuration changes, and data-capture availability).

Until those records are released, the monthly audits below represent what the monitor successfully captured — not a guarantee that the institutional monitoring system was functioning reliably throughout the year.

2026 Year Overview (Acacia Park)

Read together, the monthly audits document the structure of overnight aircraft noise exposure over Acacia Park. As the year progresses, this section can be updated with year-to-date patterns (clusters, peak events, runway configurations, and night concentration).
