Submit Evidence

TL;DR

Use this page to share evidence about Toronto Pearson’s noise, pollution, health impacts, safety concerns, or government response. Your submission becomes part of a permanent public-interest record that governments cannot ignore.

Pearson Accountability Alliance (PAA) is building a structured evidence archive documenting what residents, workers, and communities are experiencing under the Pearson flight paths. This includes noise events, sleep disruption, health impacts, air-quality issues, ATIP/FOI records, correspondence with government, and more.

You can attach documents, screenshots, complaint emails, audio recordings, ATIP files, or anything that helps show what happened. This evidence feeds into public reports, community briefings, legal filings, and government submissions.

What can I submit?

  • Noise and overflights: dates, times, flight numbers, night disruptions, screenshots from flight trackers, noise monitor logs.
  • Sleep disruption: repeated night flights, long awakenings, severe early-morning or late-night noise patterns.
  • Health impacts: stress, anxiety, headaches, heart or blood-pressure issues, medical notes (if you choose to share them).
  • Air quality and odours: jet fuel smells, smoke, haze, visible pollution or dust.
  • Safety / near-miss events: low approaches, go-arounds, runway events, close calls that caused concern.
  • Government and airport responses: emails or letters from the GTAA, NAV CANADA, MPs, Transport Canada, Health Canada, MECP, municipalities, or other agencies.
  • ATIP/FOI records and documents: government files, studies, leases, internal emails, technical reports, or briefings.
  • Other: anything else that helps show what communities are experiencing under Pearson operations.

Privacy: You may submit anonymously. Your name and email are optional and are used only if PAA needs clarification or explicit permission. Personal information will not be published without your consent.

Before you submit

  • It’s helpful (but not required) to include dates, times, and flight numbers where you can.
  • If you attach ATIP/FOI records, you may wish to redact personal identifiers before uploading.
  • If you are unsure about exact times, approximate information is still useful.

Your evidence helps inform community reports, legal filings, and government submissions. Even small details matter when collected across many residents and municipalities.

Evidence Submission Form

Please provide as much detail as you can. If you have multiple related documents, attach the most important ones and describe the rest in the text field.

Share your evidence with PAA

Your submission goes directly into PAA’s secure evidence database.

What happens after submission?

Your evidence is added to PAA’s internal database and reviewed for relevance, categorization, and corroboration. Where appropriate, items may be included in timelines, case studies, reports, or government submissions. Personal identifiers are removed unless explicit permission is provided.

You may request correction or removal of your submission at any time by contacting PAA.
